In 2013, I enrolled in the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy to learn classical painting techniques after years of freelance illustration work.

This experience was instrumental to my development as a designer -- It wasn't just about learning to paint. I learned how to design the world I was seeing, and how to teach myself and others.
